Nic Tassone

With over two decades of experience playing drums, percussion, guitar, bass, and piano, my musical journey started at age three as a third generation drummer.

 

From there, I expanded into piano, guitar, bass, and a deep dive into music theory, mixing, and recording. What began in the attic of our family home—where I first started teaching myself—has now grown into a professional, sound-treated studio (ironically built off a basement).

I've had the experiences of playing out with various bands across different genres, constantly evolving as a musician and producer. While I initially took the formal career path of becoming a high school math teacher—where I also led ACT prep courses—my passion for making music ultimately tipped the scale. That shift led me to transition from full-time teaching into running this studio full-time, while still offering math tutoring.
